Creating a Safe Space for Healing and Empowerment

After earning my Master’s in Social Work from Wayne State University, my professional journey began with Native American children in foster care and later transitioned into therapeutic work with children navigating the foster care system. My early training emphasized Attachment Theory, Systems Theory, and Trauma—foundations that continue to guide my approach today.

Much of my career has been spent in hospital and home settings, where I worked closely with medical teams. For seven years, I served as an ER social worker, providing substance abuse and psychiatric assessments, as well as crisis and trauma interventions. These experiences have shaped my ability to stay grounded, compassionate, and fully present in moments of urgency and vulnerability.

Where curiosity meets service

My counseling style is engaging and open so I may better meet my clients where they are. I bring curiosity and deep respect to every session, encouraging clients to explore the connections between their experiences, relationships, and emotional health.

My academic focus was in Marriage and Family Therapy, and I have a particular passion for Imago Therapy. This transformative approach helps couples heal relational wounds and build stronger communication and connection.

Building life one idea at a time

When I have free time, I love having a project on my hands. Whether it’s a creative art piece, a crochet pattern, or something involving power tools and building. I find joy in both the quiet rhythm of making things and the satisfaction of bringing an idea to reality.
