I believe in a client-centered approach that meets you where you are in your journey. My goal is to understand what motivates you and what you hope to achieve, so we can work together to uncover your strengths, find your inner voice, and clarify the values that will guide your path forward. Through collaboration, you’ll be empowered to gain insight, activate meaningful behavioral change, and confidently recognize what is within your control.
I currently provide therapy for children, teens, and adults in individual, couple, and family settings. My clinical experience includes supporting clients navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD/ADD, OCD, sleep challenges, anger and frustration, self-harm, grief, relationship concerns, elimination disorders, and disruptive or impulse control behaviors.
I integrate evidence-based practices supported by current research such as harm reduction for risk behaviors, trauma-informed care for those impacted by adverse childhood experiences, and exposure response prevention for managing intrusive thoughts. My approach is both compassionate and structured, tailored to help you move toward healing with confidence and clarity.
Communication is Key
Although I was born in Idaho, I moved around a lot in my formative years which exposed me to change whether I was ready or not. The constant change challenged me to adapt socially, emotionally, and academically, and my experiences have left me uniquely prepared to guide others who have the same lived experience such as military families and military children.
Through these experiences, I discovered resilience and developed a deep appreciation for connection, empathy, and the small moments that often carry the most meaning. I’ve learned that people may not always remember what you said, but they do remember how you made them feel.
These lessons shape the way I connect with clients, particularly those who feel stuck or discouraged and are seeking meaningful change in their lives. I’m passionate about helping individuals rediscover their strengths and improve their overall well-being.
A Note to Parents: When working with your child, I believe collaboration is essential. I welcome your insight and involvement, as effective communication within the family system is often key to creating healthy, supportive relationships.
As a clinician, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing powerful transformations. I have seen individuals overcome or learn to manage challenges that once felt overwhelming. My areas of expertise are guided by both clinical relevance and personal interest. I am committed to lifelong learning and continue to seek advanced training to ensure I provide informed, evidence-based care supported by current research.
Maintaining Balance
When I’m not in the office, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and staying active in nature. Cooking and baking are creative outlets for me, and I love sharing meals with the people I care about. I also enjoy walking my dogs, which gives me time to slow down and reflect. Outdoor activities like camping, kayaking, and skiing allow me to reconnect with nature and recharge. These experiences help me maintain balance and bring fresh energy and perspective to my work with clients.
