I am deeply committed to holistic healing and mental wellness, bringing a thoughtful, integrative approach to therapy that supports clients across their lifespans.
My work draws from a range of evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Positive Psychology, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Play Therapy. With a foundation in psychological testing, I incorporate empirical insights into individualized treatment plans, ensuring interventions are both effective and tailored to each client’s specific needs.
Where Deep Work Meets Light Moments
At the heart of my practice is a belief in creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where individuals can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences with honesty and curiosity. Clients often describe me as warm, grounded, and real. I believe therapy can be a place for both deep work and light moments, and I welcome humor when it fits the moment and the relationship
I strive to understand the unique perspectives each client brings and work to unravel the thought patterns and behaviors that may be blocking growth or well-being. I am drawn to this work because it lives at the intersection of identity, connection, and daily functioning. Whether I am helping someone better understand how their brain works or supporting a family through conflict, my goal is to offer clarity, compassion, and practical tools that help life feel more manageable and hopeful.
Connecting Across the Lifespan: Support for Every Stage
I work with children, adolescents, and adults, addressing a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, neurodevelopmental disorders, divorce, self-esteem issues, and adjustment-related stress. With children, I focus on strengthening family communication and building the foundation for lasting change. With teens and adults, I emphasize autonomy and encourage informed decisions and self-awareness that lead to greater resilience and growth.
The Importance of Being Heard
Early on in my life, I saw how transformative it was when someone finally felt heard, and I’ve always known I wanted to be that kind of presence for others.
Having been raised in a community where people often leaned on each other quietly but didn’t always have the words or tools to talk about what was really going on has profoundly shaped the way I approach therapy. I carry with me a respect for unspoken struggles and a deep appreciation for meeting people where they are.
I have always been curious about why people do what they do, what drives us, what shapes us, and what helps us heal. Early in my career, while working at a peer respite and volunteering in community mental health settings only solidified that desire to help others find themselves. I saw how powerful human connection could be, especially outside of traditional systems.
Witnessing growth and resilience in real time, watching someone reclaim parts of themselves, develop insight, or feel empowered in ways they haven’t before is incredibly humbling. It is a privilege to walk alongside people in their most vulnerable and brave moments.
Embracing Life’s Adventures
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me out on a trail or at a park with my two dogs—they’re full of personality and keep me grounded (and very active!). I love hiking, reading, and starting DIY projects that I’m overly optimistic about finishing quickly. I also make time for music, road trips with friends, and anything that nurtures my creativity. Whether it’s exploring new places, getting lost in a good book, or embracing a hands-on project, I value staying connected to things that bring me joy and keep me balanced.
