I am a nationally certified physician assistant with over 10 years of specialized experience in psychiatry. From the beginning of my career, my focus has been on integrative and holistic treatment of psychiatric disorders. I believe in considering a wide range of treatment modalities to best support each individual’s needs. My clinical style blends the structure of psychiatric care with the depth of psychotherapy, and I often collaborate closely with clients’ therapists to create a comprehensive and cohesive care team.

Guiding Others Back to Vibrancy and Joy

I view treatment planning as a collaborative effort, working side-by-side with my clients to explore options that feel both effective and aligned with their comfort and values.

I specialize in the treatment of ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and trauma-related disorders, among other psychiatric conditions.

My goal is to help clients better understand their emotional reactions, uncover the roots of their symptoms, and build personalized strategies for managing and navigating intense feelings. I believe that with the right tools and support, emotional wellness is within reach for everyone.

Why I Became a Psychiatric Provider

Some of the most rewarding moments in my career are when clients describe the feeling of getting their lives back. They often talk about finally seeing color again, sometimes for the first time. Everyone deserves to feel fully alive, and I feel deeply privileged to help make that possible.

A Journey to Provide Care That is Impactful

I grew up in the Metro Detroit area and attended an International Baccalaureate program in high school, where I developed an early appreciation for diverse ways of thinking and learning. During my undergraduate studies, I took a special interest in medical anthropology, which offered a global perspective on healthcare systems, cultural practices, and the human experience of illness and healing. Both of these educational paths encouraged a mindset of empathy, curiosity, and openness that continues to guide my approach to care.

As a child, I was exposed to many aspects of the medical world. I witnessed both the hopeful, supportive side and the more dismissive, mechanical side. That contrast made a lasting impression, and I knew early on that I wanted to become the kind of provider who could help create more positive and compassionate healthcare experiences. While I trust in my clinical training and expertise, I always begin by listening and learning. I believe that the most effective care starts with understanding each person’s unique story.

Finding Calm and Connection in Life’s Simple Moments

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, exploring new places through travel, and unwinding with a good cup of tea. I also love the creativity of building cheese boards—it’s one of my favorite ways to relax and share something special with others.
