My background in marketing and communications is rooted in storytelling and community connection. I’ve had the opportunity to work in the Communications Department of a local Michigan K–12 public school district, as well as with a nonprofit dedicated to education and community-building. Through this work, I discovered how powerful it can be to tell stories that honor people’s impact and highlight the dedication of those who strengthen the communities around them.
I’m especially passionate about elevating the work of professionals who support and care for others. I’m grateful to bring that passion to Kendal Clinic, where therapists show up every day to promote mental health, growth, and well-being. My role allows me to thoughtfully share their work in a way that feels authentic, respectful, and aligned with the values of the practice.
I grew up in the suburbs of Albany, New York, and later lived in Massachusetts during college and in New York City while attending graduate school. My husband and I began our family in the suburbs of New York City before settling in the Detroit area. These experiences, along with a personal background that spans diverse racial, religious, and socioeconomic perspectives, shape the inclusive lens I bring to my work and my deep appreciation for connecting with people from all backgrounds.
Outside of work, I stay connected to my musical roots by singing with a local choir, Madrigal Chorale. I’m an avid reader and writer and love ending the day with a good book. I enjoy long walks with my dog, reflective time in nature, and caring for animals. Most of all, I value time with my family, including my husband, our three children, and our pets.
