As a dedicated clinical therapist, I believe that no one should have to navigate their darkest moments alone. My work is defined by a commitment to providing the steady, compassionate support that allows individuals to move through pain toward a life of confidence and empowerment.

A Journey from Loss to Lasting Support

My path toward this profession began with my own experiences of loss and healing. After losing my father and grandmother in 2008, I navigated a difficult grieving process and experienced the weight of depression without the support I truly needed. That experience left a lasting impression on me. I decided then that I never wanted anyone else to feel as isolated as I did during that time. Today, I use that lived experience to ensure my clients feel seen, heard, and fully supported as they navigate their own challenges.

Compassionate and Personable Care

Clients describe my therapeutic style as warm, personable, and non-judgmental. I strive to create a space where you feel safe enough to be your authentic self. The most rewarding part of my work is witnessing the transformation that happens when a person begins to heal. Seeing a client reclaim their sense of self and gain the confidence to reach their goals is why I am so passionate about what I do. I believe that therapy is a partnership, and it is a privilege to walk alongside you as you grow.

Healing the Quiet Pain of Trauma and Grief

I chose to specialize in grief, depression, and trauma because I understand that these types of pain are often carried in silence. I have seen how these challenges can deeply affect a person’s relationships and their overall quality of life. My goal is to break that silence by providing a trusting environment where we can address these issues together. I am dedicated to helping my clients move beyond their past experiences and find a renewed sense of purpose and stability.

Cultural Insight and Community Roots

Being born and raised in Detroit has shaped my understanding of the importance of a safe and trusting space. As an African American woman, I am deeply mindful of how culture and lived experiences impact the way people view and engage in therapy. This perspective helps me stay grounded and intentional about meeting every client exactly where they are. I am committed to providing care that is culturally sensitive and respects the unique story each person brings to the clinic.

Connection and Life Outside of Therapy

When I am not working with clients, I focus on the things that bring me joy and keep me connected to my community. I love listening to music and exploring the vibrant culinary scene by trying new restaurants. Most importantly, I value quality time spent with my family and friends. These moments of connection and exploration keep me energized and inspired in my professional work.
