Individual, Couple & Family Therapy
Are you a child, teen, or adult who is struggling to cope effectively with upsets (big or small) or to connect meaningfully with others? Do you struggle with self-care?
Are you a parent in need of guidance to cultivate secure attachments with your child(ren) or do you struggle to establish firm behavioral expectations and discipline procedures in response to behavioral difficulties?
If you are looking for a caring, nonjudgmental, optimistic and relatable clinician to help you, then you have found your therapist!
I am a clinical social worker who is hopeful and passionate about helping young children, adolescents, and adults develop effective self-regulation strategies and communication skills to cope with past or present challenges. I have 15 years of experience in school and clinical settings, with extensive experience working with children and families on the Autism Spectrum. As a school social worker, I am able to help parents and children navigate the nuances of their child’s ever-changing social and academic worlds. For children ages 4-12, I work closely with parents, and they are very involved in the therapeutic process.
I employ cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused therapeutic modalities to work with my clients on a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, social-skills, trauma, relationships, ADHD, behavioral disorders, autism and parenting. I also have training in trauma-focused cognitive-behavioral therapy.
