Esti Weiss, LLPC
Licensed Professional Counselor
There is nothing more painful or terrifying than to feel alone; whether in the load you carry from your past, your present or in the chambers of your mind. When you decide you are ready to create lasting, meaningful change, my goal is to partner with you, empower you and advocate for you so you can develop the awareness, insight and tools you need to navigate the trajectory of life and your self-evolution. I think Ne-Yo said it best, “Let me love you and I will love you so you can learn to love yourself.” Although life does not have guarantees, I can say for certain that I will do my utmost to “see you” and do what it takes to help you move forward.
I currently work with teens, young adults and adults in individual and group counseling. I have experience addressing symptoms related to anxiety, depression, relational challenges, dating, suicidality, self-harm, complex trauma, acute crisis and trauma intervention and process addictions such as porn and sex addiction. I am trauma informed and use evidence-based practices such as TF-CBT, EFT and the harm reduction model to help people gain mastery and functionality over what may feel like chaos and hopelessness.
I have an affinity towards working with clients who feel stuck, misunderstood or are wanting to make change but are unsure how. I am a firm believer that therapy comes in many forms and there is no “one size fits all”.
What Inspires Me
“In this large and fierce world of ours, there are many unpleasant places to be. You can be in a forest that is slowly filling with water, or in the office of a pediatric surgeon, or in line at a supermarket filled with viscous, long-distance runners. But one of the most unpleasant places to find oneself is in a quandary.” -Lemony Snicket
