I completed my Masters in Social Work at Wayne State University.

I started my social work career working with Native American children in foster care then transitioned into therapy for children in the foster care system. My training focused on Attachment Theory/ Systems Theory and Trauma.

The majority of my social work career I have been in the hospital and home setting with a medical team. I worked for 7 years as an ER social worker, doing substance abuse and psychiatric assessments, as well as crisis/ trauma interventions. 

The focus of my studies was Marriage and Family Therapy. I am especially passionate about Imago Therapy for couples. This powerful approach to couples counseling focuses on healing relational wounds and enhancing a couples’ connections and communication.

I am excited to work with clients who are ready to work on their relationships with life, loved ones, and work.
